My love affair with Stitch Fix is such a fickle one. It had been going so well for such a long time...I guess it was inevitable that it would fall into a lull. We have definitely been at a low point for about the last year. If I wasn't a Style Pass member (Style Pass members pay a one-time styling fee to get unlimited boxes throughout the year. Currently it is by invitation only), we would have broken up.

But, when I was about to accept the monotony, Stitch Fix changed things up! You can hear all about it in the video below. And then keep reading to see what I decided to keep and what got sent back. See you on the other side!

COSMIC BLUE LOVE Ava Button-Down Top $64

I am surprised at how much I like this shirt with it tied in the front. It's light, breezy, and perfect for the end of summer. What I don't care for is the price. Plus I have a similar-style camp shirt. So it's a "no" for me.

I found a similar top in a gorgeous chambray on eBay

DANIEL RAINN Narien Smocked Detail Blouse $58

What a bright, sunny top! I don't own a lot of floral prints, but this one is so subtle that it works for me. I'm a big fan of all things yellow (the color warms up my skin), so I am drawn to this top. However, that neckline is too hot for Southern Arizona weather and I don't have anywhere to wear this right now. I must think practically.

SENT BACK

This top is available on Stitch Fix in this yellow as well as a beautiful red with swiss polka dots

LIVERPOOL Trey Crop Skinny Capri Trousers $88

At first glance, these are great pants. If you are a little less curvy through the hips AND have a more average rise, these would be great casual pants. Patch pockets are tricky for me, though. If they are monotone (meaning the pocket and stitching match the pants) they're okay. But these didn't work because there is so much stretch in them. They kept sliding off my waist. As they slid down, they brought the pocket lower on my leg. That made my leg get shortened visually. In other words, they threw off my proportions. And we can't have that, can we?

COSMIC BLUE LOVE Adrianne Boyfriend Distressed Jeans $88

I love, love, love these jeans. These could be my go-to pair for a while. They are a great straight leg cut and fit so comfortably on my waist. The lack of stretch means they stay up (no tugging, yessss!). I had no intention of dropping coins on jeans right now, but I'm glad that I did.

KEPT (obviously)

Get yourself a pair of these cuties on eBay. Or get these similar Kut From The Kloth jeans (the reviews are so good).

KATE SPADE Small Square Studs $38

So cute! These are a party in an earring! And who doesn't love a party?? I did find a few of these floating around on Poshmark for a tad cheaper. But I'll be honest, I prefer to buy earrings brand new. And for a couple of dollars, it didn't make sense for me to buy them used.

KEPT (party on!)

Here's a pair I found on eBay and on Poshmark.

I know I only kept two items, but this was actually a pretty great box for Stitch Fix. If not for those pants throwing things off, it would have been a 5/5!
